Keyfinder
A downloadable game for Windows
Very small basic puzzle game for the Goblin Bunker Game Jam May 2025. Theme is One Last Piece, which I used the very straight forward interpretation of this being puzzle pieces. In the case of my game, the moveable map blocks. Made in C# and MonoGame. Although this is a week jam, I unfortunately only had a few days to work on this due to personal obligations. I am still happy with the results overall. If I had more time, I'd like to make more levels and more challenging puzzles because its a touch too short and much too easy. I also was hoping to get around to making some native builds for Mac/Linux users but only Windows for now. I imagine it would work fine with Proton.
The only controls are the arrow keys, other than the menu controls as prompted in the game.
All art, programming, design, sounds etc. were done by me with the exception of the wonderful music, which I downloaded from onemansymphony.bandcamp.com. Check it out.

fun! i beat it (: i like the sfx but i think the “collect” and “finish” dings are just a little loud and the music is a little quiet. (and thus the box pushing sounds are just right)
I mean who doesn't love a good sokoban-like? Might be too easy with the key not colliding with boxes. I kinda wanted to spin the key around to weave through the boxes. Similar to Deadly Rooms of Death but with box moving.
At any rate, pretty good jam! I'd love to see more levels!
I really like that idea of giving the key collision, that adds a cool dimension to the puzzle design. If I work further on this idea (considering it) that might be the first change. Thanks!
